Nubi culture has been closely related to our people's livelihood since ancient times. Just as living utensils are needed for housekeeping, quilting has developed into a valuable field in Korea, where people have to spend the cold winter season. This is because quilting has many advantages, such as being warm and less polluted.
Originally, quilting refers to a work process in which cotton is placed on both sides of the fabric to be quilted. In other words, it is a method of stitching and attaching the cotton with a thread at regular intervals so that the cotton placed between the fabrics does not scatter. Also, it is common to quilt thick fabrics in layers.
In the process of making and wearing quilted clothes for a long time, quilting techniques have gradually diversified and refined, moving away from simple sewing and reaching the stage of aesthetic modeling. As quilted clothing penetrated into the clothing life of the people, it spread in various ways, and bags using quilted clothing, one of the lifestyles of the people, were produced.
